3 Questions for thought

It has been a few weeks since the last post and a lot has happened since then so i have three new discussion questions:

1.  With the hire of Mike Munchak as the new titans head coach and the first members of the coaching staff already completed, from either a Titans fan point of view or just the casual sports fan looking in from the outside what is your assessment of the hire itself and also where do you see the franchise heading with Munchak at the helm?

2.  With the CBA agreement date looming over the hill (March 3) do you see the two sides coming to an agreement or are we headed for a lockout? also, which side do you tend to agree with more and why?

3.  With March Madness rapidly approaching who are your early picks for the final four?

Remember guys these are just my questions you can choose to answer any of them or form your own discussion. I want to encourage everyone to think of new discussion questions all the time and post them freely, this is a place for the everyday sports fan to become the analysts and have their own debates, so blog on my friends!

  1. 1. I tend to be an optimist however I am unexcited about this hire, not that i can tell the future but the Titans are in need of a spark, something to excite the fans and organization throughout and this seems more like a quick fix, i hope to eat my words but my fear is that with the hires made here we have opened ourself up as a small market team who already struggles for press to be lost in the obscurity of the lower teams in the NFL, i do think our draft pick in the first round will say a lot about where we are headed but as of now i just cant get excited about an offensive line coach turned head coach. I just don't see the connection between the two positions.

    2. My gut tells me that an agreement will be made , both these sides can't afford the loss of revenue and reputation. In a slight way i side with the players because at the end of the day it is their body that is on the line however i see flaws in both sides argument.

    3. This is an entirely random pick due to the fact that we don't know the divisions but i will throw some teams out that i can see making it:

    1. Duke
    2. Ohio State
    3. Pittsburgh
    4. St. Johns ( just riding their fire right now)

remember it might end up that this four isn't even possible but this is all in good fun
